The role

We are looking for a Data Engineer / Data Analyst to design, build, and maintain data pipelines, analytical models, and reporting solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role combines hands-on data engineering, analytics, and close collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver reliable, insight-driven solutions.

You will work across data integration, modeling, reporting, and migration initiatives, supporting the organization’s analytics and decision-making needs.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT)
• Develop and maintain data models for analytical use (reporting, dashboards, analytics)
• Create reports and dashboards using Power BI, in collaboration with business stakeholders
• Integrate data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, files, cloud systems)
• Support data migration projects (on-premise → Azure, legacy → modern data platforms)
• Collaborate with business teams to understand KPIs and translate them into measurable analytics
• Optimize the performance of data pipelines and Power BI reports
• Document data flows, data models, and reports
• Follow best practices in data quality, security, and governance

What we’re looking for

• 2–3 years of professional experience in a Data Engineering and/or Data Analytics role
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (pipelines, datasets, linked services, triggers)
• Very good knowledge of Power BI (data modeling, DAX, reports, dashboards)
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Understanding of core data warehousing concepts (facts, dimensions, star schema)
• Experience in business data analysis and KPI reporting
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business users and technical teams
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and structured ways of working

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or Data Lake (ADLS Gen2)
• Experience with Power BI Service (workspaces, permissions, refresh, deployment pipelines)
• Basic knowledge of Python or SQL scripting for data processing
• Exposure to data governance and data quality practices
• Experience in a consulting or systems integrator environment
• Experience delivering analytics solutions for finance, sales, or operations
• Interest in AI / ML-enabled data solutions
• Curiosity for data and insights: Data-driven mindset & AI-friendly thinking
